Doping in sport

Sport today is a profession which can bring money and fame to an individual who invests big effort in training hard. Because of that, many sportsmen burn out their bodies and damage their health. Some of them aren’t able to achieve big results with their physical capacities and they reach for forbidden substances.

Society find sport entertaining, recreational and a way of maintaining good health and they don’t want to believe in the use of doping. On the other hand, sportsmen use doping and cheat society because they want to present themselves better than they are.

The problem could be solved, in my opinion, by legalising the use of doping substances. There would be no more secrets and society would not any longer idealise sportsmen who use drugs, and also, it would be fairer to sportsmen who never used any drugs.

I am not a computer enthusiast, especially because sitting for a long time and staring at the computer screen are exhausting and frustrating. I find health more significant than any job that has to be done on a computer, so  it is very important to know about health problems associated with the use of computers. If we are aware of the fact that sitting at the computer for many hours every day can influence very badly on our body, we must pay attention to how to protect our health from problems that this can cause.

There are many useful advice given by different websites, brochures and books on how to avoid the consequences caused by working long time on the computer. For example, if we feel fatigue or we have a headache, we have to take breaks - at least 5 minutes break every hour. We also have to wear glasses if are prescribed to avoid eye problems. Many sites recommend looking away from the screen when we are at the computer and focusing on something in the distance.

If we get a backache while working on the computer, that is the sign of bad posture. In this case we have to adjust our body position, to sit with the back straight and take regular breaks. This is very important to save our body from repetitive strain injuries such as finger damage or other parts of the body damage.
